Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate NEMT Medical Daycare Aide profesisonal to join our team.
As a NEMT Medical Daycare Aide, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care, specially in transportation.
Your role will involve supervising and engaging with children, implementing educational activities, and ensuring their well-being throughout the day and during transportation in our vans.

Responsibilities:
* Thorough and accurate reporting from the parent or caregiver on each patient’s status, and communicating with center nursing staff.
* Verification that all patients arriving/leaving PPEC (Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care) center have all necessary medications,equipment, and technologies listed under the Physician Plan of care form
* Collection of Vital Signs upon entrance to transportation van:
* Pulse Oximetry
* Temperature
* Heart Rate
* Maintenance of EMT Trauma bag medical items, and ability to notify leadership team when new items are needed
* Through and accurate reporting of patient attendance status, doctors visits, vacations etc.
communicated by parents, to PPEC center staff
* Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure their safety at all times
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for children
* When needed, assist with meal preparation, feeding, and diaper changing
* Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
* Collaborate with other daycare staff to create a cohesive and supportive team environment
* Follow all daycare policies and procedures, including maintaining cleanliness and organization in the daycare area
* Provide guidance and support to children in developing social skills, behavior management, and self-help skills
Requirements:
* Current, active CPR license
* Must have employment references documenting skill in the care of infants and children
* Must work under the supervision of the registered nurse
* Responsible for providing direct care to PPEC center children.
* Adhere to all rules and regulations as defined in Florida Administrative Code, chapter 59A-13, titled: PRESCRIBED PEDIATRIC EXTENDED CARE CENTERS (PPEC)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children

Expected hours: 32 – 46 per week
