Job Description:
Are you passionate about caring for children and providing a safe, nurturing environment? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced nanny/babysitter to join our family and assist with childcare duties.
Responsibilities:
* Provide attentive and loving care for children in the absence of their parents.
* Create a stimulating and safe environment for play, learning, and development.
* Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
* Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, such as tidying up play areas and washing children's dishes.
* Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.
* Follow established routines and schedules for meals, naps, and bedtime.
* Monitor children's health and well-being and communicate any concerns to parents.
* Maintain open and positive communication with parents regarding the children's activities, progress, and behaviour.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a nanny, babysitter, or childcare provider.
* Valid CPR and first aid certification preferred.
* Excellent references from previous employers.
* Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional overnights as needed.
* Comfortable with pets (if applicable).
